“Parallax Effects” is a design term that refers to a visual depth illusion created by parallax motion.
In the worlds of web design and UI/UX, it describes an effect where multiple elements move at different speeds as you scroll.
For a time, this technique was widely used across many websites.
This track follows a similar idea.
As the song progresses, layers of sound gradually overlap and drift apart, creating a sense of shifting perspective.
Even at the instrumental stage, the track already felt highly complete, which made adding lyrics a real challenge.
In the end, though, I think we found a balance that works.
I’m also very fond of the jacket artwork.
Though it’s a still image, it carries a subtle sense of motion.
It became a striking visual that naturally evokes the title, Parallax Effects.
