To be honest, I was a little skeptical about composing music with AI at first.
I’ve been writing songs since I was young.
For me, composition always felt like something drawn from deep inside myself.
But after continuing to work with Suno AI, one thing became clear.
The one who creates the world is still me.
AI is simply a tool.
Yet it’s an exceptionally powerful one.
It makes possible things that couldn’t be done before.
When you ride a bicycle, you can reach places your legs alone would never take you.
I think AI works in much the same way.
The album “Falling Petals” contains ten tracks.
Each one has its own distinct world.
Still, when you listen to the album as a whole, it settles into a quiet unity.
Every song tells a story.
But from a broader view, the themes remain the same.
Life and death.
Meetings and farewells.
Sorrow and joy.
Just as flowers bloom, fall, and bloom again,
people—and the world itself—grow little by little through repetition.
After finishing this album, I felt I could finally bring gentle closure
to the version of myself who once chased dreams.
I also realized that AI-assisted composition is already being explored by many creators.
And once again, I understood that music doesn’t end with making a piece.
It also includes how it’s shared, and how it’s heard.
This album marks the record of the music I created with Suno AI in 2025.
In 2026, AI-assisted composition will likely accelerate even further.
Along with praise and criticism, new challenges will appear.
The market itself will continue to change.
At this turning point, leaving behind my own work—even on a small scale—
feels personally meaningful.
Below is a brief introduction to the tracks on “Falling Petals.”
Hana-wa-Chiri
Flowers fall, and bloom again.
Every farewell carries the promise of another meeting.
This song depicts the cycle of life itself
and became the foundation of the album.
It was my first piece made with AI,
and it reminded me what it feels like to be lost in music.
Blue Carpet
A song about walking a path chosen for yourself,
not one laid out by someone else.
Urban and fast-moving,
yet quietly introspective.
Last Memories
A song that allows itself to sink into idealized memories.
Delicate and pure,
with a dreamlike beauty removed from reality.
Stardust
A song told from an outsider’s perspective.
It captures both admiration for, and distance from, someone becoming a star.
Its tension and brightness give it a strong presence in the album.
The Gaps in Everyday Life
A small gap away from daily life.
It’s okay to step back, rest,
and return when you’re ready.
A simple, but important message.
Future Flash
A song about moving forward in an age filled with anxiety and hope.
Calmness and determination coexist here.
It reflects who I am right now.
Ame-wa-Yamazu
Wrapped in languor and melancholy,
yet leaving behind a faint sense of hope.
Its flexible arrangement hints at the possibilities of AI-driven music.
Rhythm of Empathy
In a divided world, this song offers empathy first.
Warm and positive,
it carries gentle strength.
Immersive World
A virtual world we sink into,
and the distant reality beyond it.
The boundary between them grows blurred.
No clear answer is given.
YOI-no-Parade
A song created to close the album.
The story ultimately arrives at self-love.
And when you return to “Falling Petals” after this track,
everything quietly connects.
If even a small part of this album or record resonates with you,
that alone means a great deal to me.
Thank you very much for reading.
