カズトは、もう何度目かわからないほど、深く重い息を吐いた。
唯一の家族だった父の喪失。
母は幼い頃に亡くなっている。
残された家族は、もう誰もいない。

昔から、花が散る瞬間に心を惹かれてきました。
満開の美しさよりも、その少し後。
終わりに見えるはずの景色の中に、次の季節へ向かう静かな気配があるからです。

「花は散り」は、そんな感覚から生まれました。
2025年、AIと向き合いながら音を探し続ける中で、
ある日ふと、身体が先に反応するメロディに出会いました。
考えるより早く、「これは完成させないといけない」と思えたことを覚えています。

歌詞を書く段階では、一度AIの言葉も試してみました。
整っていて、美しくもあったけれど、どこか自分のイメージとは噛み合わない感覚が残りました。
結局、浮かんできた断片的な言葉を書き留め、メロディに合わせて削り、並べ替え、また削る。
整えすぎないことを意識し、音の呼吸に合う言葉だけを残していきました。

花は咲き、やがて散る。
けれどそれは終わりではなく、循環の途中にある一瞬にすぎません。
別れのあとには、また新しい出会いがあり、失われたように見えるものも、形を変えて巡っていく。
この曲は、そんな営みの呼吸をそっとすくい取ろうとしたものです。

「花は散り」は、AIと共に制作した最初の一曲です。
同時に、音楽に夢中になる感覚を、もう一度思い出させてくれた曲でもあります。
